Our first visitor, visual artist Camilla Vuorenmaa arrived in Jurva after Midsummer 2015. Camilla paints her work on a pine board before she modifies the surface of the painting by carving giving it a three-dimensional texture. In Jurva Camilla got to deepen her woodcarving skills with YOSK’s woodcarving expert and sculptor Kaj Lindgård.
